With September brings headaches, boredom
September is a terrible month for me, besides a game release that is catching me off guard (NHL 09). I mean, I'm in charge of my department for another week, which is going to be stressful as it is. It's the start of school for a lot of people, including my mom, who is my source of transportation (don't argue that I need to get my license/learners, because I already know). With that, most days, I'll be getting drives in in the morning and staying in town for the majority of the day. Boredom sets in when there's literally nothing to do in the Hubtown. The phrase "Mallrat" definitely fits in here. I've been single for nine months, and really losing hope in this place. Trying to be the good guy simply doesn't get girls here. Especially worse is the simple fact that Truro is the center of people talking shit about other people. If it's not true, it doesn't matter, it's still news to someone. Pretty retarded if you ask me, but when you see it first hand, or have it happen to you, you tend to get incredibly discouraged.
That said, a lot of stress of different kinds — mental, physical, emotional — but I'm still hopeful that I can get through with it all. Work has actually been quite good to me over the past few months, since the last serious conversation I had with management. I hope that I continue to impress, so I can fuel this ambition of mine.
Here's what I have lined up, coming soon, to PonzaReport.com:
- A "late" review of Bionic Commando Rearmed, because good god, I'm slow.
- A review of Megaman: Powered Up, for PSP. Yes, I'm slow on playing this one, it came out a while back, but after playing it, you'll see the direction behind the making of BC:R.
- A explanation behind what I have planned for early April. This may shock some people... while others who are expecting it will rejoice!
- Hallowe'en ideas! C'mon, after school starts, it's Hallowe'en time. They already have the displays up in my store, as of last week.
